Nitrous Oxide sedation is a very safe and effective way to help take the edge off of your dental treatments. It is a combination of Nitrogen and Oxygen which are both present in the air that we breathe. Whilst under the care of our qualified dentists you simply just breathe through the controlled mixture of nitrogen and oxygen through a nose piece which leads to a pleasant and relaxing feeling. You will remain conscious the entire time. You may feel a little drowsy when the happy gas is removed but there are no lingering after-effects.
